Privacy Policy

Greetings from KB StorSmart! We are a logistics information service that links participants in the logistics industry. The kbstorsmart.com website (the “Website”), KB StorSmart's mobile applications, and all the goods and services offered through our website (collectively the “Services”) are just a few of the services that KB StorSmart and our affiliates and subsidiaries offer you. Revogue Retail Private Limited, a business established in accordance with Indian law, is the owner and operator of the website.

This Privacy Policy forms part of the Terms & Conditions for KB StorSmart. Before using our services, please carefully review our terms of use and our privacy statement. You accept the terms of this privacy policy by using KB StorSmart's services. Please do not use our services if you do not wish to be bound by our privacy policy.

Who Is Covered by This Policy?

This policy applies to all users of our services, though some sections are targeted at particular groups of individuals, referred to by a few specific terms defined below.

“Users” refers to all individuals who use our services.

“Real Estate Professionals” (REPs) refers to users who have registered for free or paid accounts with us in order to sell or rent logistics services, take advantage of our advertising services, and engage in other activities targeted at the professional logistics community. Landlords, agents, developers, institutional property consultants, mortgage specialists and subscribers are examples of REPs. As stated in this policy, we forward leads to REPs on your behalf.

What Data Do We Gather and Where Do We Obtain It?

Like many online services, we gather and examine data about every user of our services using technologies like session and persistent cookies, web beacons (tiny image files on web pages that transmit information about the page viewer to the beacon owner), log data, and third-party analytics services. This covers information like location, user search preferences, and interactions with our website's advertisements.

Information generated by your use of the Services is automatically recorded by our servers (“Log Data”). Your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring web page, pages viewed, location, mobile number, mobile carrier, email address, device, search keywords, and cookie information are examples of log data. When you use our services — such as when you visit our websites, log in, or respond to our email notifications — we receive log data. In addition to measuring, tailoring, and improving our services, we also gather and utilise log data collectively. Any information gathered by any third party through the use of the website, links on the website, or advertisements is not covered by this policy, nor do we assume any liability for it.

In order to guarantee a more seamless user experience and to customise our services to your preferences and interests, we gather certain personal information that you have given us during the account creation or registration process, including your name, contact information, email address, mobile number, and profile images.

We send tiny data files to your computer called cookies. We use “session” cookies to monitor aggregate usage and web traffic data on our services, to better understand how you interact with them, and to keep you logged in while you use them. Every time you visit our services again, we utilise “persistent” cookies to identify you — for instance, a persistent cookie may record basic information such as your most recent search. We use persistent cookies to keep track of your choices and, if you register, to ensure a consistent user experience.

The majority of web browsers accept cookies by default, but you may modify your preferences, use third-party applications to reject cookies, or be prompted before accepting cookies from websites you visit. You can remove existing cookies using your browser's settings. Please be advised that if you disable cookies, some of our services might not function for you.

Information We Gather from REPs

Whether you are a landlord, agent, developer, or subscriber, we will need specific information from you in order to set up your REP account. All REPs are required to supply their name, phone number, email address, and company (if applicable). In order to become a subscriber and create a paid REP account, you must provide us with a description of your campaign together with all the information needed from landlords and agents. In order to handle billing, we will also gather financial data from subscribers, such as billing details. A KB StorSmart representative may contact you to confirm your details if you are a subscriber.

Additional Information We Receive About You from Outside Sources

In order to help agents better serve you, we may occasionally acquire information about you from third parties. For instance, our partners might assist us in estimating your potential requirements and likelihood of making a property transaction. Only those REPs (subscribers) that you choose to share information with by contacting them via the KB StorSmart Services will receive this augmented data.

In order to provide localised features, analyse our services with the aid of third-party analytics services, give you pertinent marketing materials, and otherwise enhance and personalise our services, we may use and retain information about your location. We will retain and link any location information you provide — such as a city, street address, or pincode — during the registration process or at any subsequent point through your account settings.

Please email us at support@kbstorsmart.com if you do not want us to share your information with other businesses or organisations, or if you would like your information removed from our website.

The Reasons Behind Our Information Collection

KB StorSmart is a logistics information service. We use the data we gather to:

  • assist you in locating the most pertinent information for your circumstances by tailoring our services to maximise your experience;
  • maintain your online connection with KB StorSmart and provide you with news and information on commercial logistics; and
  • connect you with the appropriate parties to sell, purchase, rent, or investigate commercial logistics space, and maximise the information we exchange with those parties to establish a fruitful and effective partnership.

We aim to be fully upfront about the data we gather, why we collect it, and how we use it.

How Your Information Is Shared

We gather a variety of data while you use, access, and traverse our website. This data may be individually identifiable or non-personally identifiable. This data is categorised as:

  • “Personal Information” — details that can be used to identify you, such as your name, address, age, email address, and phone number.
  • “Sensitive Personal Information” — any biometric, medical, or health-related data as well as your passwords and financial information.
  • “Other Information” — any information that isn't Personal Information or Sensitive Personal Information: for instance, device data, your usage habits and preferences, logs generated during website access and use, local browser caches, your location, IP address, and so forth.

Any personal information you provide will be used to help you log in to your account, address specific service issues, notify you of new features or services, and interact with you regarding your usage of the website. Any further data we get will be utilised for:

  • our commercial objectives, which may involve promoting rental properties, commercial logistics space, or related services;
  • data analysis;
  • enhancing your user experience or the website; and
  • delivering you relevant communications.

If, in good faith, we believe it is necessary for us to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request or action, or in any way necessary for the protection of our rights or interests, we will share information we obtain from you, including personal information, with the relevant third party.

If you do not want us to share your e-mail address with other companies or organisations, please let us know by emailing us at support@kbstorsmart.com.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII)

Non-PII is data that cannot be used to identify a specific person on its own. Information obtained from a web browser, operating system, or device is considered non-PII. This includes details about the browser and its settings, details about the operating system or device, a device's unique identifier, the web address of a page visited, the time and date a page was visited, the address of the referring web page, and other details about a web page. Information concerning a device's approximate location may also be gathered if the device's user consents.

We collect non-PII — such as cookie data and log data — to deliver and enhance our services, share relevant content with you, and report aggregated statistics. To opt out of this tracking, email support@kbstorsmart.com and we will exclude your account from analytics tracking.

Direct communication with a REP: if you fill out a form to contact a REP (or use any other contact forms available on our website), we may share the information you provide and details about your use of our services with the party you wish to contact. This could be information you enter, like property search parameters, or log data we gather while you use the services.

User-Generated Content

You should be aware that any personally identifiable information you submit in public areas of our website may be read, collected, or used by other users and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to post in these forums.

Protecting Ourselves and Our Users

We may disclose information in order to comply with a valid law, regulation, or legal request; to enforce or apply our policies; to bill and collect amounts owed to us; to protect our rights or property; to protect the safety of our users; to address fraud, security, or technical issues; or if we reasonably believe that an emergency involving an immediate danger of death or serious physical injury to any person requires disclosure of communications or justifies disclosure of records without delay.

KB StorSmart complies fully with all applicable Indian laws and has consistently complied with lawful requests from law enforcement. In response to a request from law enforcement, or when there is a legitimate need to prevent an imminent legal violation, KB StorSmart may reveal all or a portion of your personal information.

General

Account accuracy and confidentiality: it is your responsibility to always keep your email address, password, and other account information accurate and confidential. We advise a secure password that you don't use with other services. If personal information is sent to a third party due to an inaccurate email address, we are not liable.

Sale/Merger: user and website data is one of KB StorSmart's business assets. Information about our users, including personal information, may be disclosed in the event of a merger or acquisition, the formation of a separate company to supply the website or our services, the sale or pledge of company assets, or an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which personal information would be transferred as one of the company's business assets.

Third-party websites: links to other websites may be found on our website. When you click on one of these links you are going to another website. We are not responsible for any misuse of information by a website we link to, and these websites may have different privacy policies than ours — we advise you to review them.

Security: to prevent the loss, abuse, and alteration of the data under our control, we employ commercially reasonable security measures. However, we are unable to completely guarantee that any information provided to us will be protected. Sensitive data is transmitted over encrypted (TLS) connections.

Policy modifications: this Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to our information practices. Before a change takes effect, we will notify you via a notice on this website if we make material changes to how we use your personal information. We invite you to check this page regularly for the most recent details on our privacy practices.
